- Tests for carpal tunnel syndrome
- Tests if client wakes up with numb hands, numbness and tingling in later 3.5 fingers, wrist pain, and ct. does repetivie action activities.

Finkelstein's Test
- Tests for tenosynovitis of extensor pollicus brevis and or abductor pollicus longus (2 tendon snuff box on thumb), also called Quervian's Syndrome
- Tests if there is radial side wrist pain, possibly swelling at lateral wrist, increased pain and weakness over radial styloid process, pain in later wrist when ulnar deviating wrist
- Client places thumb inside closed fist, then ulnar deviated wrist actively. Therapist can move ct.'s wrist into further ulnar deviation if pain has not already apeared.
- Postivie test if sharp local pain over radial styloid process as tendons are stretched. Client will want to release immediatly due to pain.
