  1. Whats the difference between weathering and transport?
Weathering is when rocks break apart. Transport is when rock pieves are carried from one place to another.
  2. What matrix?
The material that glues the sand together in Sandstone. Several materials can act as the matrix, as in sandstone. The matrix is like the glue or cementing agent.
  3. What is a fossil? Why are Igneous and Metamorphic rocks not good for forming fossils?
A fossil is a remnant or trace or a plant or animal embedded and preservered in a rock. Igneous rocks form when molten rocks hardens so that wouldn't word for fossils, because then they would be destroyed. Metamorphic wouldn't be good either.
