  1. I am IM. I have come a long way to be here with you today, it has taken me years to get here. Our universes have come together and decided that (this date) is the day I am to be at (name of school). I am here to help each of you to become a better student, a better person, a better you. I am here to help each of you to become a Superpower!
  2. I'm going to give each of you specific instructions today on becoming super-powerful and how you can improve your whole world. This is day number one of your new superpower training program. Many of you may not know this yet, but all of you have inside you a hidden superhero. Our training objective today is to help each of you start to discover what your superpower is. (Pick a child, get name) Are you ready to become a superpower today (name)? (Names) ready. Who else is ready?! Good.
  3. Becoming a superpower is not easy. Not everyone will make it through this training. Like I said, today is just the first day of your training. Many suns will rise and set while you continue to work towards being a super. But I will guarantee you this, my young superpowers-in-training; each day that you follow this program you will be getting closer to being super.
  4. Becoming a superpower is a very positive force (that means it's good). The more that you practice at turning yourself into a superpower, the stronger that positive-force will become. Your positive force will become so strong that you will be able to achieve anything. (optional) In fact, you have a better chance than the (other higher grade) because you will be ahead them in this program.
  5. As with any superpower training program, there are dark-forces. These dark forces are always at work. They're everywhere and they never rest. The dark forces are out there trying to do one thing. Does anyone know what that one thing is? It's to stop you from becoming a superpower. Are you going to let that happen? I didn't think so.
  6. There are five laws of the universe to becoming a super. How many? These five-laws are called the Five-Alive, because when you're working to be super, you become fully alive. You become more aware of all the good that is around you. You begin to see how all of the positive forces that surround you are working with you to help achieve your gifted abilities. I am here today because of your positive forces. You will also easily notice the dark-forces that are trying to stop you. What are the five laws called? That's right, Five-Alive.
  7. If you follow the Five-Alive, these super-laws, as best as you can, each day your super force will become stronger. The Five-Alive is your guide to being super-powerful. If you practice the Five-Alive each day, in just a short a period of time you will begin to see and feel the incredible changes happening within you and all around you. Things that you used to think were too hard to do, you will see as small obstacles on your path to becoming great. Where you used to feel weak, you will be strong. Where you used to be afraid, you will be brave. Are you ready for this challenge?! Are you ready to learn the Five-Alive?! Are you ready to become super?!
  8. Five-Alive Law number one: (have handouts and/or overhead of 5-Alive)
Motion creates emotion; The more you move, the better you will feel. This is probably easiest of the five-laws to practice. You need to exercise your body every day. You've never seen a weak superhero, and if you are to become super, then you must exercise. Everyday exercise helps your body and mind become stronger. Exercising is also a direct blow against the dark force.
  9. The dark force is like a chameleon, it can change the way it looks so it can break into your positive super-force. Sometimes the dark force will hide itself as boredom. Have you ever been bored? And what kind of things do you when you're bored? Sit around and mostly do nothing, right? Whine and complain (I'm so bored..there's nothing to do!). Sometimes boredom even leads to getting into trouble- that's the dark-force at work. So, when you're bored, how do you usually feel? Tired, annoyed, whiny, maybe even a little mad, and do you know why? Because your positive superpowers want you to move, they want to exercise, they want you to go out and play, but you're letting the dark-force win because you're not moving. It's this simple, when you don't exercise, you feel bad. When you do exercise, you feel good. Motion Creates Emotion.
  10. Just so you know, playing video games is not exercise. It must be your body moving, purely for the sake of moving. Running around, playing sports, having fun with your friends on the playground, as long as your whole body is moving, and your heart is beating fast, you're getting super. You are doing something that is directly going to help beat the dark-force and become more powerful.
  11. To help you out, because I know that fighting the dark-force is hard, you can add super-breaks into your day. (Speak to teachers or administration prior to regarding helping the kids to add in 10 super-breaks a day). Do you know what a Super-break is?
  12. A Super-break is 1-minute of movement. It could be standing up and down from your chair, jumping jax, walking or running in place, bunny hops, it's your whole body moving; the only rule is that you keep moving as best you can for the 1-minute. OK, lets do one here:
  13. To start becoming super, you need to have at least ten, 1-minute Super-breaks in each day. Because your (teachers, principals) also want to help you become super, they are adding (5,10) Super-breaks into each school day. That means that you need to find at least (x #) more opportunities during the rest of your day. Exercise is not an option, superheroes; you must exercise your body every day. Will you do that? Of course you will!
  14. So what is Five-Alive Law #1? Motion Creates Emotion
  15. Five-Alive Law number two:
Learn-by-DO; The only way for you to learn anything is through action. What did we just demonstrate here, what did we just learn? The Super-Break. You might have remembered that because I just told it to you. Even if you did, you would eventually forget what a Super-break was. But because you did it, and because you'll be doing it, you know exactly what a Super-Break is. How long just one-minute can feel. What it feels like for your heart to be beating fast in your chest. That burning feeling you may have had in your legs. If you didn't DO the Super-break you wouldn't really know anything about that one minute of exercise. Learn-by-DO, the only way for you to learn anything is through action. By Doing it.
  16. This is why it is so important to listen to what your teachers are asking you to do in school. Your teachers want you to discover your super-power. Your teachers want to help you become super. They are doing this by teaching you the things that will help you get closer to being super-you. It all happens here.
  17. If you didn't come to school today, what would you have learned? If you don't do your homework tonight, how will you be prepared for tomorrow? Can you learn to read by looking at a closed book?
  18. You need to-do school. You need to-do homework. You can only learn to read a book by opening it and trying. Supers do. If you're going to be super, you need to just do it.
  19. Remember, the dark-force is a chameleon. In this case the dark-force is usually a thought inside your head saying, "we don't need to do that, let's do this instead." Do you see how tricky that dark-force is? It's saying "don't" and "do" in the same thought. Here's the lesson, Always do the things that will help you become super. Nothing else matters. Supers do what they need to do, not don't.
So before we move along to Five-Alive Law number three: Motion Creates Emotion; Learn-by-DO
  20. Five-Alive Law number three:
  21. Be Tenacious; Tenacious, do you know what this word means? It means that no matter what, if you tell yourself that you are going to become super, then you are going to follow through the Five-Alive as best you can, and you are going to be super, and that's it, no other options. It means that you do what you say you are going to do. It doesn't mean that once I leave here or when you get home today, being super is not important anymore. Your being tenacious means that from this moment on, everyone around you, all of your family and friends, and most importantly, you, can count on you being super. This is a big law of the Five-Alive, that's why it's such a big word. Being tenacious at becoming super will allow your positive forces to grow incredibly. Being tenacious at being super, will allow you to not only notice all of the positive forces working outside of you, but also to start to notice all of the positive forces working inside of you too.
People will notice your hard work. Your body will be getting stronger. Your grades will improve. Your family and friends, and teachers will know that you are someone they can count on. But most importantly, inside, YOU will know that you can count on you. You will learn to trust yourself in your abilities to achieve, because you are tenacious. You will be doing very positive things daily, and exercising to make you stronger and feeling good, and you will turning yourself into something that maybe you never thought you could, you will be super. Being tenacious is a big part of this.
  22. The dark-force here will be the voice inside your head telling that being super isn't really that important. The dark-force could also be a familiar face, maybe even some of your friends. The ones that are not as strong as you. The ones that are not working to be find their super-power. They might tease you or tell you that you're going to miss out on something, probably something that goes against the Five-Alive. Let them go. If they are doing something that is not going to help you in being super, they don't want you to be super. They don't care. You need to be tenacious to get what you want. Be tenacious at being super, nothing else matters.
    • So what are our three laws? Motion Creates Emotion; Learn-by-DO; and Be Tenacious.
    • Let's have a Super-Break here!
    • You're doing fantastic, we're almost there..
  23. Five-Alive Law number four:
  24. Believe in Me; When you look in the mirror, who do see? Yourself. You're young and there are hopefully many people in your lives right not that care for you, that help you, that want you to be a shining star in the world. I know for a fact that your teachers and certainly I care about you and want you to be successful, and a shining star in the world, and super. You, each of you, are why I deliver this message to you today. I looked in the mirror this morning and I asked myself, "What if I go to (school) and they laugh at me today? What if I'm not strong enough to stand in front of you and deliver this training program? How can I make a difference today?" I was looking at my reflection in the mirror and asking myself these questions, and I started to get scared. That fear was the dark-force creeping up behind me. I could feel it trying to get me to not come here today. I starting thinking, "I won't like it if they laugh at me, I don't know if I am strong enough, I doubt I can make a difference.."
  25. But then, I remembered I'm super! I can do anything. Nothing is going to hold me back. I practice my Five-Alive every day. I'm ready to try and make a difference, I am strong, I believe in me. You say it.
    • Believe in yourself. Every day, look in the mirror. Stare right back at yourself, and say "I Believe in Me!"
    • We all get scared. We all have doubts about whether or not we can something. Sometimes, we are all unsure if we can really be super. I am here to let you know that you that each of you has the ability be the best anything that you want to be. Achieving that is a lot of hard work. The dark-force will always be trying to stop you from becoming great. You need to believe in yourself and know that practicing the Five-Alive will make it easier for you to achieve everything. Who do you believe in?
  26. Recap: Motion Creates Emotion; Learn-By-DO; Be Tenacious; Believe in ME
  27. Five-Alive Law number Five:
    • Practice, Practice, Practice; You now have everything you need to discover your hidden super-power. You are more magnificent then you could ever imagine. But now it's time to get to work. Like I told you when we got started, this will not be easy. The good news is that now you have a plan. All that you need to do from this moment on is practice the Five-Alive. Your Five-Alive is a training program for you to be successful. It is an everyday program, not an every-now-and-then. The dark-force is a chameleon and will come in many shapes and forms and always trying to keep you from reaching your potential. You must practice, practice, practice the Five-Alive to reach your super and fight the dark-forces.
    • When you look in the mirror, who do you see? Who do you believe in? That's right, no matter what, believe in yourself. I want to tell you one of my favorite stories, it's of two frogs.
    • A Parable of Two Frogs
    • One day a group of frogs were hopping through the forest, just having a great day, when suddenly two of them fell into a deep pit. All of the other frogs gathered around the pit to see what could be done to help their friends. When they saw how deep the hole was, the most of the group agreed that it was hopeless and told the two frogs in the pit that they should prepare themselves for their fate, because they were going to die. But the two decided not to accept this and began to jump with all of their might. Some of the frogs at the top shouted into the pit "Stop! It's useless. Save your energy! Give up!" But, the two frogs didn't want to give up and continued jumping as hard as they could. After many hours of their effort they both grew very tired.
  28. Sadly, one of the frogs began to listen to the others at the top. He was very tired and became sad for himself, and decided his friends at the top were right, that he shouldn't have worked so hard, there was no chance for him to succeed at getting out, so he quietly gave in to his fate, lay down at the bottom of the pit, and passed-on. The other frog though continued to jump with every ounce of energy he had. His body was in great pain and he was completely exhausted. The other frogs at the top began yelling for him to accept his fate, to stop the pain, to stop working so hard and just lay down like the other frog. But the tired frog jumped harder and harder- then incredibly! On one jump he leapt high enough reach the top of the pit and pull himself out.
  29. Amazed, all the other frogs celebrated his miraculous freedom and then gathering around him asked, "Why did you continue jumping when we told you it was impossible?" Reading their lips, the astonished frog explained to them that he was deaf and could not hear them. When he saw their gestures and shouting, he thought they were cheering him on. He had was encouraged and inspired to try harder and to succeed against all odds.
  30. Never listen to the voices that tell you that can't achieve something. Never hear a voice telling you to give up. Who do you believe in?
