What is muscular dystrophy?
Muscular dystrophy is a hereditary disease that causes skeletal muscle to become weaker over time. It affects how muscle proteins form.
What is tendinitis?
Tendinitis is when tendons become inflamed or torn when muscles are overused. It needs rest to heal and may be treated with medicines that reduce swelling.
What are some benefits of exercise?
Exercise benefits the muscular system by increasing strength, endurance, and flexibility. It also keeps your heart, blood vessels, lungs, and bones healthy. Exercise also reduces stress, helps you sleep well, and makes you feel good.
