Elevated, firm circumscribed lesion; deeper in dermis than papule 1-2 cm in diameter.
Elevated and solid lesion; May or may mot be clearly demarcated: deeper in dermis; > 2cm in diameter.
- Elevated, circumscribed, superficial, not into dermis, filled with serous fluid < 2cm in diameter
- (E.g. varicella/chickenpox, Herpes Zoster/shingles)
- Vesicle > 1cm
- (E.g. Blister)
Elevated, superficial lesion; similar to a vesicle but filled with purulent fluid
