Pronouncing c and g before a, o, and u
- "c" pronounced like a "k"
- "g" pronounced like in "pagar"
Pronouncin c and g before e or i
"c" is pronounced like "s" in Latin America and like the English "th" of think in Spain
present tense "yo" form of verbs ending in -ger
"g" becomes "j"
But not in preterite form
- yo - recojo
- tú - recoges
- él, ella, usted - recoge
- nosotros - recogemos
- ellos, ellas, ustedes - recogen
- yo - recogí
- tú - recogiste
- él, ella, usted - recogó
- nostoros - recogimos
- ellos, ellas, usteded - recogieron
