  1. Fiction
    The class of literature made up of works whose content is produced by the imagination and is not necessarily based on facts.
  2. Nonfiction
    A literary work in which the content is based on fact. It is not made up or imaginary.
  3. Poetry
    A type of writing designed to convey experiences, ideas, or emotions in a vivid and imaginative way. It is characterized by literary techniques such as rhyme and rythym.
  4. Drama
    A type of writing that is told in dialogue and written to be performed on a stage. It is not written in paragraph form.
