  1. CABIN ALTITUDE or Rapid Depressurization
Condition: A cabin altitude exceedance occurs.

    • > Don the oxygen masks.
    • > Establish crew communications.
    • > Verify packs are on and outflow valves are closed.

    • ∴ Pressurization is restored:
    • > Continue normal operation.

    • ∴ Pressurization is not restored:
    • > PM announces . . . . . . . . “DECOMPRESSION”
    • PFPM
      > ALT select . . . . . 10,000/MORA

    • • FWD compartment: 187 minutes of fire suppression are available
    • • AFT compartment: 255 minutes of fire suppression are available

    • Nice to know:
    • Inform ground personnel not to open the cargo door until all passengers and crew have exited the airplane and fire fighting equipment is nearby.
  4. FIRE ENG (...) or Engine Severe Damage or Separation
    • Condition: One or more of these occur:
    • •Engine fire warning
    • •Airframe vibrations with unusual engine indications
    • •Engine separation

    • > Thrust lever (affected engine) . . .Confirm . . . Idle
    • > FUEL CONTROL switch (affected engine) . . . Confirm .. . CUTOFF
    • > ENGINE fire switch (affected engine) . . . Confirm . . Pull
    • ∴ If the FIRE ENG message is shown:
    • > ENG fire sw (aff eng) . . . . . Rotate to the stop and hold for 1 sec
    • ∴ If after 30 sec the FIRE ENG message stays shown:
    • > ENG fire sw (aff engine) . . . Rot to the other stop and hold for 1 sec.

    • • 90 minutes of fire suppression are available

    • Nice to know:
    • Inform ground personnel not to open the cargo door until all passengers and crew have exited the airplane and fire fighting equipment is nearby.
  6. Ditching - After impact:
    • Pilot in LH seatPilot in RH seat
