  1. ´╗┐Upper 1 (wrist 1)
    Location: between the ulnar bone border and the TENDON OF M. FLEXOR CARPI ULNARIS, 2 CUN above the wrist crease; between the heart shao yin and small intestine tai yang hand channels at the level with PC-6.

  3. 2. sinusitis and allergies

    Location: PC-6 (between the tendons of M. Palmaris longus and M. Flexor carpi radialis, 2 cun above the transverse crease.

  11. 1. head and face: parotitis, posterior toothache, swollen mandible lymph
  12. 2. chest stuffiness or pain, asthma, breast disorders
  13. 3. carpal tunnel, palm pain
  14. Upper 3 (wrist 3)
    Location: 1 centimeter inner to radius border, or lateral to the radial artery; 2 cun above the transverse crease
  15. Indication:
  16. 1. hypertension, chest pain below the axilla areas
  17. 2. elbow tendinitis, carpal tunnel syndrome
  18. Upper 4 (wrist 4)
    Location: on the thumb side of the radius border, on the top flat point of radius. Just 1/2 cun above Lu-7.
  19. Indications:
  20. 1. vertex headache
  21. 2. ear disorders: inflammation, tinnitus, deafness
  22. 3. TMJ
  23. 4. chest pain
  24. 5. stiff shoulder
  25. Upper 5 (wrist 5)
    Location: 2 cun above the dorsal crease of the wirst, between the radius and ulna (SJ-5).
  26. Indications:
  27. 1. posterior temporal headache
  28. 2. stiff neck, common cold
  29. 3. sensory and motor dysfunction of the upper limbs
  30. 4. shoulder pain, elbow pain, wrist sprain, finger joint pain
  31. Upper 6 (wrist 6)
    Location: on the dorsum of the wrist, 1 cm to the ulna bone border, 2 cun above the dorsal crease of the wrist.
  32. Indications:
  33. 1. posterior headache
  34. 2. pain in cervical, thorax vertebrae, scapular pain, and pains in the areas according to the distribution.
  35. Lower 1 (ankle 1)
    Location: 2-3 cun up from the top of the inner ankle, close to the inner border of achille's tendon.
  36. Indications:
  37. 1. intestinal disorders: abdominal distension, enteritis, constipation
  38. 2. menstrual problems: dysmenorrhea, leucorrhea, irregular menstruation
  39. 3. pubic puritis
  40. 4. urinary disorders, enuresis, frequent urination
  41. 5. inner sural (calf) pain, heel pain
  42. Lower 2 (ankle 2)
    Location: 2-3 cun proximal to the medial malleolus, close to the medial border of the tibia (SP-6)
  43. Indications:
  44. 1. LV/GB disorders, pain in the liver area, pain in gallbladder
  45. 2. swollen lymph in the groin
  46. 3. abdominal pain, intestinal distension
  47. 4. inner knee pain and pain in related areas
  48. Lower 3 (ankle 3)
    Location: 1 cm interior to the front crest of tibia (LV jue yin foot meridian)
  49. Indication:
  50. 1. interior knee pain
  51. Lower 4 (ankle 4)
    Location: midpoint between the front crest of tibia and the front border of the fibula (2-3 cun up from ST-41)
  52. Indication:
  53. 1. pain in the related areas such as hip, knee; neuritis
  54. 2. sensory and motor dysfunction of the lower limbs
  55. 3. foot dorsum pain
  56. Lower 5 (ankle 5)
    Location: shallow fossa between fibula and long fibula tendon (GB-39)
  57. Indication:
  58. 1. hip pain, pain in posterior lateral leg, sciatica
  59. 2. calf cramps, lateral ankle pain
  60. Lower 6 (ankle 6)
    Location: lateral side of leg, just anterior to Achille's tendon
  61. Indication:
  62. 1. lumbar sprain, sciatica, sacrum-illiac joint pain, calf cramps
