    (Seratonin)

    "Triptans"
    Uses: Migrane Tx (vasoconstiction to reduce inflammation)

    ADE: Inc BP, chest pain, Palpitations, vasospasm, dizzy, drowsy, abdominal pain.

    -cautions in persons with coronary artery disease.
  2. Propiaonic Acid derivatives
    Ibuprophen
    Naproxen
    Uses: Arthritis, analgesia, antipyresis, inflammation, dysmenorrhea.

    ADE: GI irritation, GI bleeding/ucler, blood dyscrasias, Visual Disturbance

    -Available in Rx and non-Rx strength
  3. Ketorolac (Toradol)
    Uses: Analgesia Only

    • ADE: GI irritation, GI bleeding/ulcers, blood dyscrasia, renal failure, hepatic problems. Corneal Thinning, Corneal errosion.
    • -used IV/IM after surgery.
    • -Don't use longer than 5 days.
  4. Celecoxib (Celebrex)
    Uses: Arthritis Pain and inflammation

    ADE: GI intolerance, CHF, Blur, cataracts, conjunctival heme, eye pain, increased IOP, vitreous floaters.

    -Available only PO
