    • immunosuppression, cataract formation, osteoporosis, myopathy, hirutism (srout hair), skin changes, mood changes, weight gain, hypokalemia, impotency, adrenal suppression.
  4. Hydrocortisone
    PO,IV,IM,topical
    Uses: sepsis, those not responsive to pressor agents
  5. Prednisone
    PO only
    • Uses: acute asthma attacks, COPD maintenence Tx
    • -taper doses when removing Tx
  6. Methylprednisolone
    PO and Parenteral
    • Uses: acute asthma, COPD exacerbation
    • -taper doses when removing Tx
  7. Dexamethasone
    PO, parenteral, INH
    CYP 450 inducer
