  1. STALL
    The pilot has lost control authority of the aircraft
  2. STRONG HEADWIND (DURING TAKEOFF AND LANDING)
    During takeoff the aircraft will need less runway surface it will also increase the angle of attack

    During landing a strong headwind will cause the plane to produce drag to slow down
  3. ALTITUDE INCREASES
    The aircraft will be more efficient with increase altitude
  4. HIGH HUMIDITY
    The aircraft will be less efficient due to the increased air density
  5. ICING
    Ice changes the shape of the airfoil and decreases the lift. It is a dangerouse condition and naval pilots shall not fly in known icing conditions during the training command.
  6. LIFT EQUATION ( L = 1/2 pv(squared) AC
    • L is lift force
    • p is air density
    • v is true airspeed
    • A is area of the wing
    • C is the lift coefficient
