    BEHAVIOR THERAPIES
  2. Behavioral technique based on classical conditioning that is used to treat phobias; the technique usually combines training in relaxation with exposure to imaginined scenes related to a phobia.
    Two types
    1. 1st= vivo=real life
    2. 2nd=imaginal graduated exposure
    SYTEMATIC DESENSITIZATION

  6. Withdrawal of a positive stimulus or event or presentation of a negative stimulus or event.
    PUNISHMENT
  7. Reinforcers desirable behaviors with tokens (secondary reinforcers), which can be redeemed for other reinforcers, especially primary reinforcers.
    i.e.
    bonus points
    TOKEN ECONOMY
  8. Combing several of the above therapies to remove bahavioral problems.
    COMBINING BEHAVIOR THERAPY TECHNIQUES
  9. Therapy in which clients discuss problems in groups that may include individuals with simialr problems.
