  1. What is a ray?
    A ray is defined as a point on a line together with all points of the line on one side of that point.
  2. What is an angle?
    An angle is defined as the union of two rays with a common endpoint, the vertex.

    Also often thought of as bing formed by rotating one ray away from a fixed ray as indicated by angle and an arrow.

  3. What is the initial side?
    The initial side is the fixed ray.
  4. What is the terminal side?
    The terminal side is the rotated ray.
  5. What is a central angle?
    A central angle is an angle whose vertex is the center of a circle. The arc of the circle through wich the terminal side moves is the intercepted arc.
