What is a
ray?
A ray is defined as a point on a line together with all points of the line on one side of that point.

angle

is defined as the union of two rays with a common endpoint, the
vertex
.
Also often thought of as bing formed by rotating one ray away from a fixed ray as indicated by angle
and an arrow.

initial side
?
The initial side is the fixed ray.
What is the
terminal side
?
The terminal side is the rotated ray.
What is a
central angle
?
A central angle is an angle whose vertex is the center of a circle. The arc of the circle through wich the terminal side moves is the
intercepted arc
