How do you calculate rate law, given certian Concentrations and rates?
1. Use the given concentrations and see what effect the rate has on them, if [A] doubles, and rate doubles, it is a first order. If not, it is either 2nd or third order. So square or cube the initial rate.
How do you calculate k, given concentrations and rates?
Plug in given values for A and B, and be sure to use the rate law that was found. divide rate by A and B.
How do you calculate fraction of remaining reactants, given the rate?
make sure to multiply rate by time for first-order reactions.
