  1. How do unicellular organisms respirate?
    they exchange gas straight across the cell membrane
  2. How do annelids exchange gas?
    they secrete mucus onto their skin which catches gas, and circulates back inside them.
  3. How do arthropods respirate?
    by their spiracles....it comes in straight to the trachea and then exchanges straight to the cells
  4. What are the alveoli?
    the air filled sacs at end of airway. this is where gas exchange takes place (lots of surface area)
  5. what part of the brain controls our breathing?
    medulla oblongata (when CO2) increases it increases our breathing
