    • Setting ( time place, general enviroment, mood and tone)

  2. What are the requirements of the charachters
    • must be beliveble /stereotypical
    • Protagonist - has a goal to reach (main character)
    • Antagonist - Bad guy, keeps protagonists from reatching goal
  3. Stages of a Plot Diagram
    • Exposition - setting and charchters established
    • Raising Action - Basic problem stated
    • Climax - Point of highest tension (turning point)
    • Falling Action - how the problem is solved
    • Demonument - Ties up loose ends

    • Direct - Author tells readers what a certain character ins like
    • Indirect - auther ggives away information for the reader to figure out what the charachter is like
