  1. Genesis 1:1
    In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth.
  2. Genesis 1:27
    • So God created man in his own image, in the image of God he created him; male
    • and female he created them.
  3. Genesis 2:7
    • the LORD God formed the man from the dust of the ground and breathed into his
    • nostrils the breath of life, and the man became a living being.
  4. Leviticus 19:11
    • "'Do not steal. "'Do not lie. "'Do not deceive one
    • another.
  5. Numbers 23:19
    • God is not a man, that he should lie, nor a son of man, that he should change
    • his mind. Does he speak and then not act? Does he promise and not
    • fulfill?

    • If you make a vow to the LORD your God, do not be slow to pay it, for the
    • LORD your God will certainly demand it of you and you will be guilty of

  9. Ruth 1:16-17

  10. 1 Samuel 12:23-24
    • As for me, far be it from me that I should sin against the LORD by failing to
    • pray for you. And I will teach you the way that is good and right.

  11. 1 Samuel 15:22
    • But Samuel replied: "Does the LORD delight in burnt offerings and
    • sacrifices as much as in obeying the voice of the LORD? To obey is better
    • than sacrifice, and to heed is better than the fat of rams.

  14. 2 Chronicles 30:21
    • The Israelites who were present in Jerusalem celebrated the Feast of
    • Unleavened Bread for seven days with great rejoicing, while the Levites and
    • priests sang to the LORD every day, accompanied by the LORD's instruments of
    • praise.
  15. Job 42:2
    • "I know that you can do all things; no plan of yours can be
    • thwarted.
  16. Psalms 1:1-6
    • Blessed is the man who does not walk in the counsel of the wicked or stand in the way of sinners or sit in the seat of mockers.
    • But his delight is in the law of the LORD, and on his law he meditates day and night.
    • He is like a tree planted by streams of water, which yields its fruit in season and whose leaf does not wither. Whatever he does prospers.
    • Not so the wicked! They are like chaff that the wind blows away.
    • Therefore the wicked will not stand in the judgment, nor sinners in the assembly of the righteous.
    • For the LORD watches over the way of the righteous, but the way of the wicked will perish.
  17. Psalms 4:8
    • I will lie down and sleep in peace, for you alone, O LORD, make me dwell in
    • safety.
  18. Psalms 16:11
    • You have made known to me the path of life; you will fill me with joy in your
    • presence, with eternal pleasures at your right hand.
  19. Psalms 27:9-10
    • Do not hide your face from me, do not turn your servant away in anger; you

    • appear; then your righteousness will go before you, and the glory of the LORD
    • will be your rear guard.

    • Then you will call, and the LORD will answer; you will cry for help, and he
    • will say: Here am I. "If you do away with the yoke of oppression, with

  49. Isaiah 62:1-2
    • For Zion's sake I will not keep silent, for Jerusalem's sake I will not remain
    • quiet, till her righteousness shines out like the dawn, her salvation like a
    • blazing torch. The nations will see your righteousness, and all kings your glory;
    • you will be called by a new name that the mouth of the LORD will bestow.
  50. Jeremiah 1:5
    • "Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, before you were born I set
    • you apart; I appointed you as a prophet to the nations."
  51. Jeremiah 30:2
    • "This is what the LORD, the God of Israel, says: 'Write in a book all
    • the words I have spoken to you.
  52. Lamentations 3:22-23
    • Because of the LORD's great love we are not consumed, for his compassions
    • never fail. They are new every morning; great is your faithfulness.
  53. Daniel 6:4
    • At this, the administrators and the satraps tried to find grounds for charges
    • against Daniel in his conduct of government affairs, but they were unable to
    • do so. They could find no corruption in him, because he was trustworthy and
    • neither corrupt nor negligent.
  54. Hosea 2:16
    • "In that day," declares the LORD, "you will call me 'my
    • husband'; you will no longer call me 'my master.'

    • Then the LORD replied: "Write down the revelation and make it plain on
