  2. What are the cellular components of blood?
  3. What is the role of ADH in regulating urine concentration and volume?
Concentration of water in blood decreases. Increase in omotic pressure of body fluids stimulate osmoreceptors in hypothalamus of brain. Hypothalamus signals posterior pituitary to relase ADH. Blood carries ADH to kidneys. ADH casues dista convoluted tubules and collecting ducts to increase water reabsorption by osmosis. Urine becomes concentrated and urine colume decreases.
