Americans With Disabilities Act (ADA)
A federal law that bars discrimination against people with disabilities. The scope of the act includes both employment and access to places of public accommodation.
Personal rights that derive primarily from the Constitution, for example, equal protection, free speech, freedom of contract, privace, and due process.

Civil Rights Act of 1964
