  1. What does STAR stand for?
    Standard Terminal Arrival Route
  2. When using a transition in an arrival route, what comes first in your filed flight plan? The transition or the arrival?
    Transition.Arrival (DP notation is opposite)
  3. What is vertical navigation planning?
    Used in STARs to help pilots of high performance aircraft anticipate which altitudes they will most likely be directed to for each navaid. 
  4. Approach review should include:
    Frequencies, inbound course, minimums, missed approach point, and missed approach procedure.
