  1. Borders of the Deep Perineal Pouch
    • Lateral = Obturator Internus Muscle and Fascia (tendinous arch)
    • Superior = superior pubic ramus
    • Medial = Tendinous Arch  Levator Ani Muscle
    • Inferior = Perineal Membrane and inferior pubic ramus
  2. Contents of the Deep Perineal Pouch
    • external urethral sphincter (innervated by pudendal nerve)

    •       - Inferior Pudendal artery     
    •       - Inferior Pudendal nerve
    •             these give off the Inferior Rectal Artery and Nerve which run medially through the fossae

    • ischioanal fat
