  1. What are the three engines available in the 2013 E-Series Wagon?
    • 4.6L SOHC V8 (FFV)
    • Standard on a E-150

    • 5.4L SOHC V8 (FFV)
    • Standard on E-350 Super Duty (Regular and Extended)
    • Optional on E-150

    • 6.8L SOHC V10
    • Optional on E-350 Super Duty (Regular and Extended)
  2. What are four beneficial advantages of 2013 E-Series Wagon engine design?
Single overhead camshaft (SOHC) design provides an advanced level of value control.

Deep-skirt engine block design and low-friction components enhance reliability and fuel economy.

Silent-design chain cam drive contributes to reduced noise.

Electronic throttle control (ETC) delivers seamless and consistent engine response and transmission shifts.
  3. What is the horsepower and torque of the 4.6L SOHC V8 (FFV) engine on the E-Series Wagon?
    • 225 horsepower @ 4800 RPM
    • 286 torque (lb-ft) @ 3500 RPM
  4. What is the horsepower and torque of the 5.4L SOHC V8 (FFV) engine on the E-Series Wagon?
    • 255 horsepower @ 4500 RPM
    • 350 Torque (lb-ft) @ 2500 RPM
  5. What is the horsepower and torque of the 6.8L SOHC V10 engine on the E-Series Wagon?
    • 305 horsepower at 4250 RPM
    • 420 Torque (lb-ft) @ 3250 RPM
  6. Explain the Flex Fuel (E85) capability on the 2013 E-Series Wagon.
Both the 4.6L and 5.4L V8 engines are Flex Fuel (E85) capable.  Flex Fuel engines can run on E85, 100 percent gasoline or any combination of the two fuels in the same tank.

A sensor detects when the vehicle is refueled, and the vehicle automatically determines what mix of fuel is being used and adjusts the air/fuel mix accordingly.
  7. Explain what E85 fuel is and it's pro's and con's.
    • E85 is a blend of 85 percent ethanol fuel and 15 percent unleaded gasoline.
    • Burns more cleanly than gasoline and helps reduce our dependancy on imported oil.
    • Does not reduce the power output of the engine, but fuel economy will be noticeably reduced.
  8. What 2013 E-Series Wagon models is the 4 Speed Automatic Transmittion available on?
A 4 speed automatic transmission is standard on all E-150 and E-350 models with the 4.6L or 5.4L SOHC V8 engine.
  9. On the 2013 E-Series Wagon what all gasoline-powered engines are available?
    • 4.6L V8
    • 5.4L V8
    • 6.8L V10
  10. On the 2013 E-Series Wagon what Flex Fuel (E85) capable engines are available?
    The 4.6L and 5.4L V8 engines
  11. On the 2013 E-Series Wagon what engine is the Torqshift 5-Speed automatic transmission (includes a tow/haul mode) standard on?
    6.8L V10 engine
  12. On the 2013 E-Series Wagon what engine is the 4 Speed Automatic Transmission standard on?
    4.6L, 5.4L and V8
  13. On the 2013 E-Series Wagon what is a benefit of the torque converter on the TorqShift 5-speed automatic transmission?
    Maximizes low-speed torque capability
  14. On the 2013 E-Series Wagon what type of brakes are standard?
Four-wheel disc brakes with Anti-Lock Braking System (ABS) are standard on every E-Series model.
  15. On the 2013 E-Series Wagon what is the Standard Handling Package?
    • Provides a high level of ride control with less body lean when cornering.  Package includes:
    • - Front stabilizer bar
    • - Heavy-duty front and rear shock absorbers
  16. On the 2013 E-Series Wagon what is the Independent Front Suspension?
Tuned shock absorbers help improve ride quality.

Each wheel reacts to road irregularities with minimal effect on the opposite wheel for a smooth, controlled ride.
  17. On the 2013 E-Series Wagon what is the Power Steering System?
Provides overall responsive handling and solid on-center feel.

    Provides low steering efforts.
  18. On the 2013 E-Series Wagon what is the AdvancedTrac with RSC?
It's standard on all E-Series Wagons

The AdvanceTrac helps the driver maintain vehicle control in adverse driving situations or when making evasive maneuvers on slippery pavement.

The RSC is an additional vehicle control software module.  It builds on the ABS, traction control and yaw control systems of AdvanceTrac to help keep the vehicle tires on the ground by monitoring and helping control vehicle roll rate.
  19. On the 2013 E-Series Wagon what is the availability of a trailer brake controller (TBC)?
Optional on all Wagon models, requires message center and Class II/III/IV Trailer Tow Package.
  20. Explain the features of the optional Trailer Brake Controller (TBC) on the 2013 E-Series Wagon.
The trailer brake controller (TBC) ensures smooth and effective trailer braking by powering the trailer's electronic brakes with an output proportional to the towing vehicle's brake pressure.

It's factory-installed and warranted by Ford Motor Company.

It's fully integrated into the instrument panel and the vehicle's onboard computer.

Provides instant visual and audible warnings in case of accidental trailer disconnect.

    • Includes the following user indicator in the message center:
    • - Trailer connected indicator
    • - GAIN setting display
    • - OUTPUT bar graph

Manual control lever and +/- (GAIN adjustment) buttons located on the instrument panel allow the trailer brakes to be manually applied and adjusted for optimum performance.
  21. Describe the braking system on the 2013 E-Series Wagons?
Large rotors, calipers, pistons and specially formulated pad material help improve stopping distances, handle high GVWRs and lengthen brake life by reducing operating temperatures.
  22. What is the availability of the 110-volt AC outlet on the 2013 E-Series Wagon?
Optional on all 2013 E-Series Wagon models
