    • AE: highest risk for DM and dyslipidemia, dizziness, sedation, dry mouth, worst for weight gain

    • bipolar disorder
    • MOA: blocks D2 receptors, blocks 5HT receptors - releases DA in motor brain regions and could reduce glutamate hyperactivity
    • USES: maintenance for recurrant mania, bipolar depression, acute mania, preferred for psychosis in PD and lewy body dementia
    • AE: sedation, orthostatic HTN, weight gain (track throughout)
