  1. Matter
Matter is anything that has mass and takes up space
  2. Pure substance
A pure substance or chemical substance is a material that is homogeneous and has constant properties throughout the sample.
  3. Mixture
A mixture is a material system made up of two or more different substances which are mixed but are not combined chemically
  4. Element
A chemical element is a pure chemical substance consisting of one type of atom distinguished by its atomic number, which is the number of protons in itsnucleus.
  5. Compound
A chemical compound is a pure chemical substance consisting of two or more different chemical elements that can be separated into simpler substances by chemical reactions
  6. Physical property
A physical property is any property that is measurable whose value describes a physical system's state.
  7. Viscosity
Viscosity is a measure of the resistance of a fluid which is being deformed by either shear stress or tensile stress.
  8. Melting point
The melting point of a solid is the temperature at which it changes state from solid to liquid
  9. Boiling point
The boiling point of a substance is the temperature at which the vapor pressure of the liquid equals the pressure surrounding the liquid and the liquid changes into a vapor.
  10. Solubility
The solubility of a substance is the amount of that substance that will dissolve in a given amount of solvent
  11. Density
The mass density or density of a material is its mass per unit volume.
  12. Chemical property
A chemical property is any of a material's properties that becomes evident during a chemical reaction
  13. Combustibility
Combustibility is a measure of how easily a substance will set on fire, through fire or combustion.
  14. Stability
The state or quality of being stable
  15. Toxicity
Toxicity is the degree to which a substance can damage an organism
