  1. Landing in the Trees
    • 1) Autorotate
    • 2) Shoulder Harness - Lock
    • If time and altitude permit:
    • 3) MAYDAY - Transmit
    • 4) Transponder - Emergency
    • 5) Twist Grip - Close
    • 6) Battery - OFF

    Attempt to arrive at zero airspeed/zero rate of descent as close to the tops of the trees as possible.  Pull full collective as you plummet after that.
  2. Hydraulic System Failure
    • 1) Airspeed - Adjust (most comfortable)
    • 2) HYD BOOST Switch - Check ON
    • 3) HYD BOOST CB - Pull
    • If restored:
    • 4) Land as soon as practical
    • If not restored:
    • 5) HYD BOOST CB - IN
    • 6) HYD BOOST Switch - OFF
    • 7) Force Trim - ON
    • 10) Land as soon as practical
  3. Hydraulic Power Cylinder Malfunction
    • 1) Hydraulic Boost Switch - OFF
    • (WARNING: Can't do so if the circuit breaker is out)
    • 2) Helicopter - Regain Control
    • 3) Airspeed - Adjust (most comfortable)
    • 4) Land as soon as possible
  4. T/R Chip Light
    Land as soon as possible
  5. Eng/Trans Chip Light
    • Check for secondaries:
    • YES:
    • 1) Land as soon as possible
    • NO:
    • 2) Press CLEAR CHIP, note time if it goes out
    • 3) If it stays on, land as soon as possible
    • Second:
    • If within 30 minutes:
    • Land as soon as possible
    • If outside 30 minutes:
    • Press CLEAR CHIP, if it clears continue, if it doesn't land as soon as possible
    • Any subsequent:
    • If within 50 flight hours of the first, land as soon as possible and do not attempt to clear the light. 
  6. Fuel Boost Pump Failure:
    • 1) Descent - initiate if above 6,000 ft PA and flight permits
    • 2) Fuel Pressure and Quantity - Note
    • If both pumps failed:
    • 3) Land as soon as possible
    • If one pump failed:
    • 4) Land as soon as practical

    Maintain balanced flight and level flight attitude
  7. Suspected Fuel Leakage
    • 1) Land as soon as possible
    • If time and altitude permit:
    • 2) Transmit position and intentions
    • 3) Unnecessary electrical equipment - secure
  8. Main Gen Failure
    • 1) MAIN GEN FIELD and MAIN GEN RESET CBs - Check IN
    • 2) Main Gen Switch - Reset, then ON
    • If gen power not restored:
    • 3) Main Gen switch - OFF
    • 4) Unnecessary electrical equipment - OFF
    • 7) Descend below 6,000 ft PA
    • 8) Land as soon as practical
    • If power is restored:
    • 9) Continue flight
  9. DC Loadmeter and Voltmeter
    • 1) Main Gen Switch - Reset, then ON
    • If the problem is corrected:
    • 2) Continue flight
    • If not:
    • 3) Main Gen Failure procedures - Execute
  10. Electrical Fire, Unknown Origin
    • 1) Bat Switch - OFF
    • 4) Main Gen Switch - OFF
    • If the fire persists:
    • 5) Land immediately
    • If the fire extinguishes:
    • 6) Land as soon as possible
  11. Electrical Fire, Known Origin
    • 1) Affected equipment - Secure
    • 2) Affected CBs - Pull
    • If fire persists:
    • 3) Electrical Fire, Unknown Origin - Execute
    • If fire extinguishes:
    • 4) Land as soon as practical
  12. Battery Hot
    • 1) Bat switch - OFF
    • 2) Land as soon as possible
  13. Battery Temp
    • 1) Bat switch - OFF
    • 2) Continue flight
  14. Fuel Control Failure
    • 1) Collective - Adjust as required to maintain Nr in operating range
    • 2) Twist Grip - Adjust to maintain Nf/Nr in operating range
    • 3) Land as soon as possible
  15. Engine Fire in Flight
    • 1) Confirm existence of fire
    • If fire exists:
    • 2) Land immediately
    • 3) Emergency shutdown - Complete after landing
    • If fire not confirmed:
    • 4) Land as soon as possible
  16. Airframe Fuel Filter
    Land as soon as possible
