  1. MS is an autoimmune demyelinating disorder. What does that mean?
    The body begins seeing myelin as an antigen. Tries to get rid of it.
  2. Axon myelin sheaths are attacked by the immune system, which leaves what behind?
    Sclerotic plaques
  3. What parts of the body are affected?
    Both the brain and the spinal cord
  4. What causes MS?
    Due to childhood contracted disease causing immune system to attack myelin, or a virus that enters into the myelin.
