    Mitosis and Meiosis are both types of cell division. Meiosis is the process of a cell division which result in the daughter cell being produced with ONLY HALF the number of chromosome as the parent cell.

    A number that describes how likely it is that an event will occur.

    A chart that shows all the possible combinations of Alleles that can result from a genetic cross.
  25. Purebred
    The offspring of many generations that have the same traits.
  26. Recessive Alleles
    An Allele that is masked/hidden when dominant allele is presented
  27. Sexual Reproduction
    Is a type of reproduction that involves gametes.
  28. Trait
    A characteristic that an organism can pass on to its offspring through its genes.
  29. Diploid
    Describes a cell that has two sets of chromosomes, one from each parent.
