Structural isomers (aka constitutinal isomers)
only share a molecular formula - weight is the same but otherwise they are completely differerent molecules with different chemical and physcial properties
What does physcial properties apply to
characteristics of processes that don't change the composition of matter, such as melting point, boiling point, and solubility
What do Chemical properties apply to
determine how the molecules reacts with other molecules
What is the only difference between steroisomers?
difference amoung how the atoms are arranged -- Same chemical formula, same atomic connectivity
