    • Bleeding
    • Hematoma
    • Nausea
    • Anemia
    • Thrombocytopenia
    • Fever
    • edema
  7. Interactions of enoxaparin(Lovenox)
    • Heparin- leads to death
    • anticoagulants
    • Nsaids
  8. Does PT/INR have to be monitored



     
    More predictable than heparin, no need for PT/INR monitoring

    Protamine can reverse the effects , replace blood w/packed RBC

    •  hematuria
    •  melena(stool blood)
    •  petechiae
    •  ecchymoses
    •  gums bleeding
