    Announcement - accepting the fact that it's there

    Moratorium - taking responsibility

    Focusing - I'm going to be a father 
  3. What do we check for at 12-18 weeks?
    genetic disorder when indicated. 

    CVS/MSAFP or "triple" or "quad" (multiple markers)
  4. How often should a a pregs go in for check ups? 1st, 2d, 3rd, trimester?
    • 1-2nd - monthly
    • 3rd - every two weeks until the 36
    • every week after that.
  5. What can I do if I pee all the time?
    Avoid caffeine, pee when you can. Kegals!
  6. What can I do for my fat ankles?
    Don't stand for a long time, feet elevated, don't constrict legs with clothes.
  7. What can I do for headaches?
    Avoid eyestrain, cold cloth.
  8. What can I do about leg cramps?
    Straight the leg and point toes to your face!

    6 weeks after postpartum

    The blood and debris that comes out following delivery.

    Alba. (jessical alba is yellow?)

  16. When does the period start again after giving birth?
    7-9 weeks for non lactating.
  17. When will the abs recover from pregs?
    6 weeks.
  18. When do the breasts become heavier and fully?
    3-4 days after.
  19. How much fluid is the mother losing during the 1st day after pregs?
  20. WBC is elevated after birth. Concerned?
    No. Normal. 
  21. How long does it take for joints to recover?
    6-8 weeks
  22. How long does it take for the kidneys to come back to normal?
  23. How long before rugae returns?
    4 weeks.
  24. How long before this damn hemorrhoid goes away!? 
    6 weeks
  25. Uterus involutes how long before normal?
    2 weeks
