    Express this volume in cm3
    1 litre = 1 dm 

    = 10 cm × 10 cm × 10 cm = 1000 cm

    So 1l = 1000 cm3

    0.216m = 216 litres

    So 216 x 1000 = 216,000 cm3
  3. A container has a volume of 0.216 m3.    

    Express this volume in litres
    1 litre = 1 dm3

    So 1 litre = m3

    So if 1 litre is  of 1m then 1 m = 1000 l

    So 0.216 m3 = 1000 × 0.216 litres

    = 216 litres

    Calculate the volume of the container.        

    You should give your answer in m3 and to three decimal places.
    = 0.8 x 0.8 x 0.8
