  1. Oxytocin (pitocin)
    Uterine stimulant. Used for induction of labor etc. Increases strength, frequency and length of uterine contractions.

    loss of DTR, low urine output, resp depression, pulmonary edema and chest pain

    Opioid analgesic. used in labor
