What is sensation?
The activation of receptors in the various sense organs.
What are sensory receptors?
Specialized forms of neurons.
What is perception?
It is the interpretation of sensation and seems to follow some basic principles, although individual and cultural differences
the tendency to perceive things a certain way because previous experiences or expectations influence those perceptions
