    Slows the AV conduction and supresses reentry dysrhthmias. Causes dilatation to the coronary arteries and reduces the oxygen demand to the heart.

  6. Dosage (Adult)
    2.5-5.0 mg slow IVP may repeate at double dose (5-10 mg slow IVP) every 15 - 30 mins as needed
  7. Doseage (Pedi)
    Newborn - 1 Y/O - 0.1-0.2mg/kg IVP MAX of 2mg

    1-15 Y/O- 0.1-0.3mg/kg IVP MAX of 5mg
