    • S/S; pain, decreace breathing, low BP
    • Dx; hemocentesis

    • Community = person to person
    • Et: most common in adults is bacterial
    • Aspiration means to draw in or out using a sucking motion
    • Aspiration is common to patients unable to swallow well
  7. Pulmonary Abscess
    • Et: MCC aspiration in lower rt. lung
    • S/S; pain, cough, chill, decrease breathing
  8. RSV Bronchiolitis
    • Respiratory syncytial virus (RSV)
    • MC in infant/pre-mies & elderly patients
    • common pathogen
    • S/S;cold-like, can include croupe cough(barking like)
