1 Cor 13 on love

“Love is patient; love is kind and envies no one. Love is never boastful, nor conceited, nor rude; never selfish, not quick to take offense. Love keeps no score of wrongs; does not gloat over other men's sins, but delights in the truth. There is nothing love cannot face; there is no limit to its faith,its hope, and endurance. [....] In a word, there are three things that last forever: faith, hope, and love; but the greatest of them all is love.”

• looks for ways of being constructive
• kind

• not possessive
• envies no one

• not anxious to impress
• never boastful

does not cherish inflated ideas of its own importance

not concieted

• good manners
• not rude

• not pursue selfish advantage
• never selfish

• not touchy
• not quick to take offense

• not keep account of evil
• keeps no score of wrongs

not gloat over wickedness of other people, but glad with all good men when truth prevails

not gloat over other men's sins,  but delights in truth
