- Thy sons and thy daughters shall be given unto another people, and thine eyes shall look , and fail with longing for them all the day long: and there shall be no might in thine hand.
Therefore shalt thou serve thine enemies which the LORD shall send against thee, in hunger,and in thirst, and in nakedness, and in want of all things: and he shall put a yoke of iron upon thyneck, until he have destroyed thee.
And the LORD shall bring thee into Egypt again with ships, by the way whereof I spake unto thee, Thou shalt see it no more again : and there ye shall be sold unto your enemies for bondmenand bondwomen, and no man shall buy you.
He will surely violently turn and toss thee like a ball into a large country: there shalt thou die , and there the chariots of thy glory shall be the shame of thy lord's house.
1 King 8:46
If they sin against thee, (for there is no man that sinneth not,) and thou be angry with them, and deliver them to the enemy , so that they carry them away captives unto the land of the enemy, far or near;
And they have cast lots for my people; and have given a boy for an harlot , and sold a girl forwine, that they might drink . Yea, and what have ye to do with me, O Tyre, and Zidon, and all the coasts of Palestine? will ye render me a recompence? and if ye recompense me, swiftly andspeedily will I return your recompence upon your own head; Because ye have taken my silverand my gold, and have carried into your temples my goodly pleasant things: The children also of Judah and the children of Jerusalem have ye sold unto the Grecians , that ye might remove them far from their border.
And they shall fall by the edge of the sword, and shall be led away captive into all nations: andJerusalem shall be trodden down of the Gentiles, until the times of the Gentiles be fulfilled.
Thou shalt betroth a wife, and another man shall lie with her: thou shalt build an house, and thou shalt not dwell therein: thou shalt plant a vineyard, and shalt not gather the grapes thereof
Thine ox shall be slain before thine eyes, and thou shalt not eat thereof: thine ass shall be violently taken away from before thy face, and shall not be restored to thee: thy sheep shall begiven unto thine enemies , and thou shalt have none to rescue them.Thy sons and thydaughters shall be given unto another people, and thine eyes shall look , and fail with longing for them all the day long: and there shall be no might in thine hand.
The fruit of thy land, and all thy labours, shall a nation which thou knowest not eat up ; and thou shalt be only oppressed andcrushed alway
The LORD shall bring thee, and thy kingwhich thou shalt set over thee, unto a nation which neither thou nor thy fathers have known ; and there shalt thou serve other gods, wood and stone.
And thou shalt become an astonishment, a proverb, and a byword, among all nations whither the LORD shall lead thee.
The LORD shall bring a nation against thee from far, from the end of the earth, as swift as theeagle flieth; a nation whose tongue thou shalt not understand;A nation of fierce countenance, which shall not regard the person of the old, nor shew favourto the young:
Our inheritance is turned to strangers , our houses to aliens. 3 We are orphans and fatherless , our mothers are as widows. 4 We have drunken our water for money; our wood is sold unto us. 5Our necks are under persecution : we labour , and have no rest .
