For a departing aircraft — ATC authorization for an aircraft to make a simulated rejected takeoff, reduced power takeoff and a simulated engine out failure on departure procedure at the discretion of the pilot.
An approach over an airport or runway following an instrument or VFR approach, including the go-around manoeuvre, where the pilot intentionally does not make contact with the runway.
