  1. Veggie Formula - 3" Flatbread or 4" Mini Sub
    • 2 pieces of any cut, sliced, or whole veggie.
    • 0.5 oz (1/2 oz) of Lettuce or Spinach
    • 0.25 oz (1/4 oz) of Onions
  2. Veggie Formula - 6" Sub or Flatbread
    • 3 pieces of any cut, sliced, or whole veggie
    • 0.75 oz (3/4 oz) of Lettuce or Spinach
    • 0.25 oz (1/4 oz) of Onions
  3. Veggie Formula - 12" Sub or Flatbread
    • 6 pieces of any cut, sliced, or whole veggie
    • 1.5 oz (1 1/2 oz) Lettuce or Spinach
    • 0.5 oz (1/2 oz) Onions

    *aka - Double the 6" Rule
  4. Veggie Formula - Salads
    • 6 pieces of any cut, sliced, or whole veggie
    • 6 or 3 oz Lettuce or Spinach
    • 0.5 oz (1/2 oz) Onions


    *aka - Same as 12" Sub but more leafy greens. (double 6" but with extra greens)
  5. Extra Veggies
    • Extra = 2x Standard Formula
    • Lots = 3x Standard Formula

    • If customer still asks for more, after you put on "Lots", keep adding in increments of 1x Standard Formula. 
    • (e.g. If customer ask for even more pickles on their 6" Sub, add 3 more pickles each time, until they are satisfied.)
  6. What Vegetables are Offered at Subway?
    • Lettuce
    • Tomatoes
    • Cucumbers
    • Pickles
    • Green Peppers
    • Olives
    • Onions

    • (Spinach)
    • (Banana Peppers)
    • (Jalapenos)

    If a customer asks for "All Vegetables" ask if that includes the Spinach, Banana Peppers, and Jalapenos.
  7. Napkin Formulas
    • 1 Napkin - Subs/Flatbreads 6" and under. 
    • 2 Napkins - Salads and Subs/Flatbreads 12"
  8. How do you "Hinge Cut" the loaves of bread?
    • 1. Hold Knife at 45 Degree Angle
    • 2. Cut with one long, straight cut from top corner to bottom corner.
    • 3. Do not cut all the way through. Carefully "open" the bread and begin constructing sandwich.
  9. When building sandwiches where does the veggies go?
    On bottom side/half.
