    Increases cardiac output by increasing the strength of cardiac contraction and increasing rate. It also reduces peripheral vascular resistance and venous return.

    To increase cardiac output by increasing the heart rate in symptomatic bradycardia refractory to atropine/pacing/dopamine

    Severe Status Asthmatics
  4. Contraindications
    Cardiogenic Shock

    • Chest Pain
    • Palpitation
    • Anxiety
    • Tachycardia
    • Ventricular Dysrhythmias
  6. Dosage (Adult)
    2-10mcg/min titrated to cardiac rate

    Status Athmaticus 1-2 sprays MDI
