How is sound conducted in the ear?
Tympanic membrane -> malleus, incus, and stapes->into the cochlea->Detected by the hair cells in the organ of Corti
What are the constituents of the outer, middle and inner ear?
- outer: tympanic membrane
- middle: malleus, incus and stapes
- inner: organ of Corti, which contains the hair cells
How is balance detected?
By the semicircular canals in the inner ear.
