    • 1. Lower trunk of brachial plexus
    • 2. Subclavian arteries & veins (vessels of arm)
  2. Second rib is attached at sternal angle at which plane (thoracic vertebra levels)
    T4-T5 (landmark plane in thorax)
  3. Thoracotomy definition:
    To make an incision through an intercostal space
  4. Median sternotomy:
    Sternum is divided to gain access to thoracic cavity for surgical operations
