    Adult Dose
    MDI: 2 inhalations, 1 minute apart

    • Pre-term labor:
    • 0.25 mg subcutaneously - repeat in 30 - 60 minutes as needed.

    • IV drip for ongoing suppression of labor:
    • 5 mg in 500 mL lactated ringers solution or NS.  30 mL/hr (5 mcg/min).  Slowly increase drip rate to max dose of 80 mcg/min as required.
