  1. Anterior
    The front. Before
  2. Posterior
    the back. Behind
  3. Superior
    above, at a higer level (in the human body, toward the head)
  4. Inferior
    below, at a lower level

    away from an attached base (fingers are distal to the hand)

    the pelvis area
  18. Sacral region
    fusion of two or more vertebrae between the lumbar and the coccygeal regions
