  1. CURTIS: I call them forth. Maids!
    Enter servants NATALIE and NICHOLA.
  2. NATALIE: Welcome home, Grumio!
    NICHOLA: How now, Grumio!
  3. GRUMIO: Is all ready, and all things neat?
NICHOLA: All things are ready. How near is our master?
  4. PETRUCHIO: Where be these knaves? What, no man at door?
Where is Curtis? Where is Natalie, Nichola?
ALL SERVANTS: Here, here, sir; here, sir.
  5. PETRUCHIO: Go, rascals, go, and fetch my supper in.
Exeunt NICHOLA and NATALIE and CURTIS
  6. PETRUCHIO: Where are those--Sit down, Kate, and welcome.--
Re-enter NICHOLA and NATALIE with supper
  7. PETRUCHIO: Why, when, I say? Nay, good sweet Kate, be merry.
Off with my boots, you rogues! you villains, when?
    NICHOLA addresses his boots.
  8. PETRUCHIO: Take that, and mend the plucking off the other.
    PETRUCHIO strikes NICHOLA.
  9. PETRUCHIO: A beetle-headed, flap-ear'd knave!
    What's this? mutton?
    NICHOLA: Ay.
  10. PETRUCHIO: I tell thee, Kate, 'twas burnt and dried away;
And better 'twere that both of us did fast,
Be patient; to-morrow 't shall be mended.
Come, I will bring thee to thy bridal chamber.
    Exeunt
    Re-enter NICHOLA and CURTIS

NICHOLA: Curtis, didst ever see the like?
