    Refers to a transient and reversible loss of urine
  2. Acute Illness
    Rapidly occurring illness that runs it's course, allowing the person to return to his/her pervious level of functioning.

    Period in chronic illness when the symptoms reappear
  12. Exudate
    Fluid that accumulates in a wound; may contain serum, cellular debris, bacteria, and white blood cells
  13. Granulation Tissue
    New tissue, pink/red in color, composed of fibrosblasts and small blood vessels that fill an open wound when it starts to heal
  14. Ischemia
    Lack of oxygen resulting from poor circulation
  15. Necrosis
    Related to death of a tissue (necrosis-localized tissue death)
  16. Pneumonia
    Inflammation or infection of the lungs
  17. Rapport
    Special feelings held b the client and nurse based on acceptance, warmth, friendliness, common interest, trust and non-judgmental attitude.
  18. Reactive Hyperemia
    Blanchable reddening of skin which occurs when pressure is removed
  19. Risk Factor
    Something that increased a person's chance of illness of injury
  20. Sensory Deficit
    Impaired or absent functioning of one or more sense
  21. Sensory Deprivation
    Conditions resulting from decreased sensory input or input that is monotonous or meaningless
  22. Necrosis
    Death of cells
