    • Seizures: 10-20mg/kg slow IV push - do not exceed 1gm rate of 50mg/min
    • Dysrhythmias: 5-100mg slow IV push every 5-10 minutes as needed to max of 1gm

    Ampule 125mg/5mL
  12. Dilantin - pediatric dosage:
    • Seizures: 10-20mg/kg slow IV push (1-3mg/kg/min); same precaution as adult
    • Dysrhythmias: 5mg/kg slow IV push; same precaution as adult
