  9. Engine Oil Temp High
          (Above 115C)
    • - Reduce A/S to 80 KTS
    • - Check for cooling
    • If Not Cooling:
    • - Land As Soon As POSSIBLE
    • - Stop ENG Check Oil Cooler Fan for Operation
  10. ENG CHIP
    • - Land As Soon As POSSIBLE
    • - Inspect chip plug
    • T/O Prohibited until specific maintenance checks complete
  11. MGB CHIP
    • - Reduce ENG Power
    • - Monitor MGB P / MGB T Lights
    • - Land As Soon As PRACTICAL
  12. TGB CHIP
    • - Continue Flight avoiding prolonged hovering
    • - Land As Soon As PRACTICAL

    (DC Generator Failure)
    • - Test DC Voltage 
    • - Reset Gen Switch
    • If Unsuccessful:
    • - Shed unnecessary Circuits
  14.                  BATT
    (Battery no longer charging)
    • - Check Battery On
    • - Reset GEN
    • Keep Watch on Voltage
    • - Continue Flight Based on Situation

    (Gov Function Degraded)
  16. -   Avoid abrupt power variations  - LASA PRACTICAL

    If necessary return twist grip to “Flight” VOL position

    (Fuel Quantity < 15.8 GAL)
    • - Avoid large attitude changes
    • - Boost Pump ON
    • Approximately 18 min. fuel remain at level flight
  21. Tail Rotor Drive Failure
    • In FWD Flight:
    • - Reduce power to maintain Forward speed(Weathercock Effect)
    • - Set up Steep Approach
    • - On final 500’ – Shut Off Eng  - AUTOROTATE
    • OR
    • - Shallow Approach Run-On Landing
  22. Tail Rotor Control Failure
    • - Airspeed 70 KIAS
    • - Hyd. Accumulator Test - Push
    • - After 5 seconds - Reset
    • - Make shallow App to Run on Landing
    • (Best: Rt Cross Wind w/speed < 20 Kts @ touchdown)
