Physical changes in the skin caused by disease process

evolve from primary lesions and may be caused by external factors ( scratching, trauma, healing process)

- Red, blanching

- vascular capillary dilation
- Spider angioma ( common noticeable telangiectasia)
red color is due by extraversation ( bleeding of the capillaries)
- Palpable purpura
